Down to Earth
Thought I'd start a thread for discussion on the game this week. I'm in a bit of a rush right now so won't be able to add much until tomorrow, but wanted to get something rolling anyways.

Down to Earth
I think this could be the weekend the Packers pull out their first victory. Monday night stage. I just hope they can shut down Steve Smith. They do that and they should be fine. Interesting note in that Mike Wahle signed with the Panthers during the off season.I say the biggest downfall in this game is having to listen to Madden talk about Favre all night long, especially if he has a good game. Maybe they should both retire after this year.
Dave B
I think this is Packer Fan Freedom Monday. At 0-4 w/ the upcoming schedule, they will not be burdened w/ the need to watch the hapless Packers. They can start watching USC on Saturday to see Matt L, who should be there when the Pack has the 1st pick in the 2006 draft.

Buzzsaw, I think all of us(Packer fans) are gonna have to be this season as I'm afraid the wins are going to be few and far between.

nbdyknws
The Vikes are going to win the division by default. And I am not saying they will be 9-7 or 8-8, I am thinking they might end up winning with a 7-9 or a 6-10. EEK!
Down to Earth
Maybe the NFC North winner will be the San Diego Padres of football.
Down to Earth
Also from Fanball. I especially like the Madden/Michaels reference.Carolina on my mind: Want to hear grown men cry? This could be the last time John Madden and Al Michaels get to worship at the altar of Brett Favre, so break out the industrial-sized crate of tissues. What's that? We'll be treated to the currently-winless Packers two more times on MNF? Well, then, tune in to see Steve Smith run rings around Al Harris, moving so quickly that Harris' dreads may begin to swirl and he would fly into the Carolina sky like a helicopter. Forget the singing Gramaticas or "You've Been Sack'd"; that would be a memorable halftime show.
