Electric Chainsaw

I thought someone might be interested to hear that I bought a Craftsman 3.5hp electric chainsaw. I needed to drop a few trees in the backyard and yesterday I did it. The saw was only 69 bucks on sale and it made quick work of 3 12" diameter maple trees! it works great, if you are near power it sure beats having another gas can to mix!

I use my electric for trimming trees. I feel a little more safe up on the ladder knowing that I don't have to try to start a powersaw.

I've got a buddy that takes his camping, nice because it doesn't make much noise and he can buzz through anything. He runs it off a power inverter.

Wish I had one.
