Visiting the Black Hill Next Week, Where do I stop and shop?

I'm headed to the Black Hill next week. (9/17) for a vacation with the wife. I was wondering if there are any notable stores along the Minnesota to SD - I-90 corridor for tackle, outdoor stuff or guns.

Cabelas in Mitchell! I am not aware of much else.

I will be in Custer State Park doing a little trout fishing on some of the walk-in lakes Thurs. and Fri. evening! I was out there a few weeks ago and had limited success. I have a new game plan this go around though and high hopes of improving my game!

You could always check out Wall Drug. I've only been there once or twice. I'm not a huge fan of the place, but I know some enjoy it. To my knowledge, it does not have fishing stuff. Sioux Falls has a Scheel's, but it not on I-90. Rapid has a Gander Mountain in the mall.

I would say that Cabela's is your best bet in Mitchell.

As mentioned, theres the cabellas in Mitchell, scheels in Sioux Falls, but there also is a Scheels out in Rapid.

Enjoy your trip, if you havent been out there before, you wont be dissapointed. Hope you and your wife have a good trip.

Don't forget to swing by any of the gas stations on your way out to pick up a bright orange hat that says "South Dakota" with a pheasant underneath.
