NAPAFISH
Spend time with your parents. Everyday is not promised to everybody. God Bless Robbie and his family. Some things are just more important than others. Hope he finds solace.P.S. Could we be witnessing the decline of Gordo the Great??????
JohnMickish
Mr. Loomis has put his priorities in order, and if he is comfortable with them then that's all that matters. No, I don't think this is the decline, remember that Robbie Loomis is his 3rd crewchief in his short career. Do you guys remember when Loomis was with John Andretti driving the 43 for the king?
lawdog
Loomis hasn't put a decent car on the track in months. Getting rid of him is the best thing that can happen to the 24 team. They are letting him make this out to be a personal decision, but changes were coming.

lawdog
If they really want to help the 48 (and the 24) they should bring Brian Whitesell back to the 24/48 shop. They sent him over there to get that new joint up and running for the 5 and 25 and the 24/48 cars have never been as good since. Loomis can't help the 48, he hasn't put a good car together in months! Its good he's going back to Petty's he knows how to be a back marker...
JohnMickish
To the "E" fans, any of you care to guess how many crew chiefs the old man had in his career? Off the top of my head I think he won championships with at least 4 different ones. Don't feel this is the end for Jeffy. If a crew chief change makes all the difference, then Jr. should win out the season now, right?
