To help get off the the gas topic...Hows the fishin???? Can't wait to get out in the boat and not think about the gas prices and everything else (at least for a little while)except for wondering what are these buggers going to bite on today!!

Fishin' has been horrible for me lately. I did manage to catch 3 fish in about 5 minutes yesterday but that was it for the rest of the evening.

The walleye bite on Lake Vermilion has been very HOT the past couple of weeks!

My clients and I have realy been slamming them using Angel Eye jigs and minnows!

The fish are going into their fall mode already on the East end of the lake.

Fishing in our area has been picking up. Blackduck Lake has finally started to turn on for walleyes and the numerous lakes along the Scenic Highway (Gilstad, Rabideau, Pimushe, the Twin lakes, etc) have started producing good numbers of panfish and a few pike especially near the cabbage patches and other vegatation. Great time of year to fish, the fish are cooperating, the temps are great and the trees are starting to change and show the fall colors.

Not to change the subject, but Did you guys here now that gas prices are now jumping to 4 bucks a gallon!! Hahaha jk, fishing sucks though. Brian-

How the heck should I know?

I'm too busy obsessing over the price of gas.

But seriously,if I were obsessed I would've let it go long ago.

Went out on Saturday up near Stillwater and managed to scare up a couple trout even though it was so sunny. I hate the sun.
