Good jerkbait rod?

There are a few late-season deals on rods out there, and I'm thinking about picking up a rod for jerkbaits. I'm thinking a 6 or 6-3 in M or MH power. What do you all think, and what kind of gear do you use for jerkbaiting. Personally, I think I like the X-raps even more than Lucky Crafts, and you aren't so scared to use 'em near pike waters.

Thanks fellas.

I use a 6'6", Med action rod. I also use it for a lot of topwater applications as well. I think for most people a 6' rod would be best, I am 6-3 so I feel I can get away with a 6'6" rod.. Also the style boat you are fishing out of can play a part in it too. Aluminum boats have higher walls than a bass boat.

Like Deitz says, kind of boat could play a part in it. I fish from a bass boat most the time and it is great. I am only 5'10 and i can get away with a 6'6 rod for the most part. However, when i fished from my buddies boat up north i was unable to use my 6'6 rod. I would hit the walls all of the time if i used it.
