Choosing the Right Underwater Camera

I have the original scout and it works just fine. I have seen other Aqua-views in action and for the money, I'll take the scout. I haven't seen anything work worth a darn at night on Mille Lacs or mud bottomed local lakes. The only thing I would really like to see is a scout with a spool. Those new Aqua-views are intriguing for only that feature alone, to me anyway. Why don't they make all camera's with those type of spools? Wasn't anyone thinking at these places until now??

Thanks Hanson, I guess I would swing the extra $60 for a brand name instead of something I'd never heard of.

Actually the folks at Aqua-Vu are Always thinking. It's just that the cost of LCD technology which is used in the Spool series have been extremely high untill recent years. So basically even at the $500 and $600 price points the spools are still some of the most spendy in the Aqua-Vu line. Had they been out a couple years ago, they would have been pushing $1,000

i have an athlantis 502,,,,,now i am geting an aqua vu XL,,,but i would like to no,,,,its there some wit color ..t.v.and camera..........?

some people ,,,,say that the aqua -vu dont work at night,,,?
