Are you sure the problem is the radio, every problem I've ever had has been due to the antenna. Same for my friends.

I'm sure its the radio i have power going to the unit but it won;t turn on.

I've got a friend thats a hamm operator that has been known to fixes radios on the side.

What kind of radio is it?

I can give him a call and see if he'd be interested in taking a look at it.

Thanks alot for the offer i just broke down and sent it back to the factory for repairs. hopefully it will be a warrenty issue. thanks
