Jackhammers

I've been using the 75 grain Jackhammer for 4 years now with great results. 1 1/4 inch cut. Now that they make a 100 grain 1 1/4 inch cut I may switch. Any body use them yet? I don't care for wider than 1 1/4 inch for expandables.

I shoot the 100gr. 1 3/4 jackhammers and they work awesome. The best blood trails I have ever seen. Bigger the hole the more chance of blood coming through that hole. Try them you will like them.

I'm going to use Jackhammer SSTs this year. I plan on practicing with them before the season. Will I have to adjust my sights much because I've been practicing with field tips?

My buddy says he doesn't adjust his sights at all when using the jackhammers. He agrees with you....they work awesome.

The jackhammers will hit right where your field points do as long as the wieght is the same. It's a good idea to have your bow in tune to get best flight. shoot through a piece of paper at 10 feet and see which way the tear goes then adjust to as small a rear as possible. I prefer a tear that goes straight high about 1/2 inch or less.
