LMS 332 - C ????

A friend just got one of these and the modual is not responding. Gander has not helped much other then to try another modual. Has any one had this happen to them and if so what was the problem. All is hooked up and there is power.

Is it wired right?? The new modules have their own power cable that must be hooked up. I made this mistake the first time with my new X-15MT. It kept saying module not responding.

Like Chris said, You need to have power to the module. The power cable that hooks to the unit has three cables coming off of it. 1) is the main power for the unit, the black and red need to be hooked to power, 2) NMEA power cable, the black and red also need to be hooked to a power source, 3) a cable with 4 colored wires that you just tape off, as you will than likely not be using them. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys,, problem solved!! Paul the wire discription you gave was some thing my buddy did not see in the instructions,( may have been there) nor did gander offer such great help, thanks much!!
