Sportsmans Atlas for S.D.

Can any of you S.D. guys tell me if the fish and game people still have this book that shows all the public land and walk in areas? Seems to me that it used to be a book about 3/8" thick and had all the public areas on it county by county. I had one years ago but have lost it and am sure it would be out of date anyway. The land we used to hunt has changed hands so we need to start looking for some new places. Appreciate it.

I had one last year but not sure about this year. I will do some checking for you to be certain. They are normally available at any small town gas station or sport shop.

The atlas that the GF&P puts out every year with the walk in area come out in Sept.They sould be out in a couple of weeks. Ace Hardware always has a bunch of them here in Sioux Falls.

Gadgetman: I order a couple of the atlas's every year from the SD's game, fish and parks HSOforum. www.state.sd.us/gfp they do mail them out in September, it is very usefull to those of us from out of state that want to try new areasgood luck.
