dfv87
I have a really good deal on this boat, anybody have any experience with this model? I have always had Lunds but only tiller fishing boats. I am not a big water fisherman for the most part.
0 Lowe
I have the 17' model, three years old, and I love it. I'm not sure if the current Pro Sports are the same but they should eb similar. Very nice ride and easy to fish out of.

0 Xplorer
87, I also have the 17' model (2000) and it has been a great all around family fishing boat. Use it for camping up on Kabby quite often and can haul a load (the mrs doesnt camp light ) I use it within reason on Lake Superior as well. If it is post 2001 (i think) it will have the IPS hull. Some quick specs with a 90hp 4 stroke are: WOT is 39.1 gps with 2 in boat, average mpg over all rpm ranges is 6.5 (done over 6 days and 234 miles) The boat has a high freeboard (great for keeping little ones in) which makes it prone to beign "pushed" by wind. I would suggest a bowmount of 55-65#'s and a windsock or 2. We easily can pull tubes or skiers with it. I give mine 2 big thumbs up.Xplorer
0 marine_man
One consideration depends on how many people you plan on having in the boat. As the boat is so short when you ride 4 people in the back (behind the windshield) it gets pretty cramped as far as swiveling the seats and leg room.... as I'm 6'6" this is a big consideration for me...marine_man
0 dfv87
thanks everybody for the input, it is a used boat from a friend I know from work and it is so clean I cannot believe it. I plan on adding some things for customizing to my types of fishing so the drift sock etc. will be coming soon.
