Don't really care for him or dislike him, but here's my point. With our hitting woes of late (3weeks), put the same lineup on the field for 1 week. We have had Punto 1st, 9th 2nd, Stewart 1st 3rd, Mauer 2nd 4th, Morneu 4th 7th, get my drift. Stick with a lineup for a week and get some consistancy. This joggling of the lineup is very frustrating for me. I would imagine it's pretty frustrating for the players as well when they look at the card.

He's always been that way and it's worked in the past, I just think he's got so many issues in the infield this year, besides that Morneau had been as cold as ice.... Jones is streaky, Hunter the same... know what I mean.

Looking back to how the Timberwolves handled their situation, I almost wouldn't be suprised to see Gardy get the hook if the Twins miss the playoffs. Baseball drafts aren't like a football or basketball draft. So if they miss the playoffs it isn't like they are gaining anything. I like Gardy alot though but maybe he isn't tough enough on his players. But I would rather have Gardy and Flip coaching our teams just because I like how they only keep the good natured players.

With the best farm system in the whole league, and we dont trade out top farm system players, we should be doing good. I just think we lack trading. Within the last year or 2. We have only got Stewart and Nathan. And they turned out very good for us.

Gardy's not going to get the hook, their record's about the same as last year. They turned over pretty much the whole infield. Overall the pitching staff has pitched well, but Santana was unstoppable the 2nd half last year, which pretty much pushed us over the hump. He's been solid this year, but still mortal. We had two All-Star's & they were both pitchers. We really didn't have a hitter other than possibly Hunter, more for his defense than his bat, that was even in consideration. These guys are solid Major Leaguers, but they're not stars. Mauer likely will be if he stays healthy, Mourneau maybe... There's been a lot of guys in baseball history with a ton of power that couldn't make contact very consistently, just think of Bye Bye Balboni for one.

Up to the point that I lost interest, Gardy's poor decisions cost the Twins a legit six games. Gardy is a career coach, nothing more. When he gets the hook he'll never get a head job again.

Agreed on that. The Twins just blew all chances of competing this year and I think alot of the players have to be alittle mad at that. Why are they going in there everyday trying their hardest when the managers and owners dont care. Everyone knew the Twins had to make a move to start making a push. I think they lost alot of fans over this last week or 2, for the rest of the season.
