Leaf River Dig Question

I'm in the market for some CF cards for my leaf river digital. How much should I be willing to spend for two of them along with a card reader? Where's a good place to look?

After rebates, I paid about $30 apiece for two 512 MB Compact Flash cards at Best Buy. The CF reader at Best Buy was $20. Then I paid $27 (that includes postage) on hsolist for a 256 MB card that included a reader. Check out hsolist, theres lots of new stuff for sale under 'Buy it now' if you don't want to hassle with the auctions. Basically the bigger the card, the more you pay.

At this point, I don't know why I bought such big cards, the 256 MB card will hold about 450 pictures at high resolution, I know I found out last weekend when I filled it up. I made the mistake of putting my camera where an over hanging branch was waving, it filled up the card in two days!

I use 128MB cards.

I have bought 4 on hsolist. Around $12 to $16(shipping and all).

do you have to have a certain size (dimension) to fit into the slot on the camera or do they all work?

For Leaf River cameras, they must be Compact Flash (CF) format.

No other memory medium will fit the slot.
