Vermilion bass fishing?????

Hunter, we have a family cabin on the East end of Vermillion. My advise on the smallmouth is as follows. Fish them early morning and evening. Work the docks and windblown shorlines. Don't ever be afraid to go very very shallow. I generally toss right on the rocks and onto the shoreline. Any topowater will work, mepps inline spinners in white and brown (size number 3), tube jigs, small jigs and minnow/crawler, crayfish imitator baits, small rapalas, husky jerks, spinner baits, buzz baits, and my all time favorite the senko. My personal favorite is the 4" in a pumpkin with green sparkle. I am sure there are many many other lures that will work I have just not been able to try any others then I have mentioned. This year I am going to try a few other baits to see if they produce. I will be up there late June, the 4th of July, and the week of July 11th. I will use my above go to baits to get the stick bending but then will reach in the box to try some other options.
