truck wont start?

Question

I have 2003 chevy 2500 Hd, backewd in the boat last night to the driveway.

this morning I went to pull out and it would not start.

the battery has juice, but the starter will not turn!

It does not even click. When you thurn the key everything stops any ideas?

I agree, bad battery connection.

Clean up posts and connectors and it will be fine.

One other possibility is your positive cable on starter, might got loose or corroded, but I would go with battery first.

Do you have juice everywhere else??? Also make darn sure that you are all the way in park, or try putting it in neutral and starting it. Dang things are fussy about that stuff cool.gif Neutral safety switch has been known to cause that symptom a time or 2 ya know smile.gif

Battery connection.

It has good enough connection for the low amperage draw of the accessories, fuel pump, etc... as soon as you hit the key you lose everything because the loose/poor connection wont support the amperage draw.

This could be the positive, or negative cable.. it is usually at the battery.
