Who Braved the cold

Who went out camping for opener?? We did, and my daughter spent alot of time in the camper and I went through ALOT of firewood keeping warm outside. Opener is always our first run of the season with the camper. good weekend, could have been warmer though. all systems worked and nothing went wrong so that makes the trip good!!

We were out, first trip with the 24 foot travel trailer. It sure was nice on Sat morning, sitting in the camper as that cold rain came down, turning up the furnace a little more!!! Of course it was sunny and nice when we left Sunday.

We tented it in central MN but of course we winter camp too so it wasn't as bad for us as those "fair weather" campers.....LOL

We'll be out this coming weekend with the tent camper near Spicer. Last year I purchased a small ceramic heater. It runs at a comfortable temp and keeps the camper warm. For the first summer that we've had the camper, we didn't use a full tank of propane due mostly to running the furnace.

Oppener was my 4th camp of the season I realy enjoy early and late season camping, way less crowds, you just have to dress for the occation

sunny, I agree, I'd rather have it cool and dress for it vrs sweltering in the heat. Problem I have with fall camping, my wife is always pushing for it, is that if interferes with fall hunting seasons!!!!!
