The_Duckslayer
Oh, er, um, ah, nevermind. I saw ice on the puddles this morning and got excited, but I guess it is only the 5th month of the year and not the 11th. Dang it! Guess I had better get the boat up and running, might be nice enuff to take the Lil Mrs out fishing this weekend. Have a good one and N Joy the Hunt././Jimbo
EBass
LOL - It was fitting with the snow we just had. Only 6-7 more months until next ice season.
The Grebe
I'm looking forward to those Mille Lacs Perch again next season. I was out to Bass Pro Shop looking at sales on winter lures...got two I think will work, some hooks and some other stuff, before my sister-in-laws doctor appt. was over and she called, "I'm ready" cheez, I did'nt even get a chance to finish browsing! troutman
I watched the movie"The Incredibles" last weekend. There's a super hero in the movie named "Frozo".The guy can lay a sheet of ice down and skate to wherever he wants. How cool would that be?Anytime you want...lay a sheet of ice down on your favorite lake and have at it. The_Duckslayer
WOW... talk about a deterrent for the PWC's! You could also use it to keep folks from crowding you when you have a good spot. Woosh... ice sheet 50 feet in every direction! Interesting concept... Take care and N Joy the Hunt././Jimbo
The Grebe
I took my cordless and a wood bit and drilled a hole in an ice cube this morning! The guy I had working on my auger FINALLY got er done last night...only took him about 4 months! He let me use his auger while mine was being fixed and I can tell you this, his auger had NEVER cut as many holes as it did in the time it was with me and it will NEVER cut anywhere near that many holes for the rest of the time he owns it! Unless he loans it to me again! Now he has power head #2...I wonder if I will get that back before hard water?
Redwalleye
Yeah discourteous PWC operators are almost as bad as some snowmobilers. Only couple more months and the jiffy will run again!good fishin
