Rockin R Bar

The Cat's Paw

I can't remember the name of the bar, your friend will know. It's a bar where you throw the peanut shells on the floor and can carve your name in the tables.

Also, you have to have a Pickle Barrel sub while you're there!!! A half is six inches long and weighs about a pound and a half!!

Have fun!!

I think there is a place called the R Bar that is supposed to be pretty good. Sorry I'm not too much help, I'm not a big Bozeman fan. I went to school in Missoula at U of M. Montana State was our big rivals, so I never made it down to Bozo too often.

While the bar scene is cool in bozeman you really should check out the scenery such as get your hands on a fly-rod and hit the Madison, gallatin, and hyalite reservoir for trout (Mixed Bag, Rainbow, and cutthroat). You can get browns on the madison, but its always a mixed bag, just enjoy the scenery. As for day hikes head up to the top of Mt. Baldy (Just above the M) and Mt. Sacajawea (in the Bridgers). (Make it a point to get up to fairy lake at dusk to see the trout rise and likewise at rat lake). Also if you have a mountain bike try the Sourdough trail to Mystic Lake, (its a long up-hill like 7 miles but when you get there you'll see what I mean.)
