If it is a male pup/dog I like the name Shooter. I really haven't heard of many male dogs with this name, but think it may get more common among the hunting crowd. Just my 2 cents.

I once told my wife that the closest she would ever get to Garth Brooks was to get a dog and name him Garth. He is now 8 years old. My son tells me that when he moves out and gets his own dog he is going to name it Damit. I can see it now. Sit Damit. Come Damit........
