Gary Roach fish batter

I seen Gary Roach has fishing batter, anyone know if its any good and where I can get some in stores?

Don't know where you can get it, but the cajun and the original are both delicious. I wish I could remember where I last saw it. Sorry.

Gander carries it... it is very good! I usually use it as a breading (great on pheasant too!), but if the kids want beer batter, mix it thinner than usual, dip the fish in milk, then roll in the breading and then dip into the batter, and immediatley roll the "battered" fish in Panko (available in the Asian section of the grocery store). Then deep fry as usual. Awesome crispy coating on the outside of the beer batter.

I went to the Gander in Mankato and they didnt have it.

Sorry about that... I think they must've just discontinued it. I asked a kid who worked there if they still carried it and he just kind of looked at me with a lost look and said he wasn't sure.....

I ended up going to Fleet Farm and getting some.

I tried the original batter on some walley and perch and it was great. I believe I got it from Kowalskis Market.

I picked it up at Cabelas right across from the fly fishing section. Have yet to try it though.

Ive walked by the flies part of cabelas alot and never looked much there. I will probably look there and fleet farm in owatonna next month for it. Wheres kowalskis market?

If you guys are looking for a good fish batter try Fishing Fever all purpose batter I think it's called. I picked some up from Gander in Forest lake. It is very tasty.
