Guest
Looks like Jr. had a better day today. Now we will have to wait and see if they can continue to run up front.Tires seem to be a real issue for alot of teams this year, just when you think your having a good run,a tires goes down and to the pits and the trunk you go.Seems like its getting every team, keeps it interesting. lawdog
It doesn't take much to move up from where he was. Next week he'll be OK too, but then they have to go back to the bigger tracks where they've showed NO signs of life all year. I wouldn't get too excited about this week or next... JohnMickish
Like lawdog said, no aero to contend with here. It's good to survive Bristol but in any sport when you get excited about finishing 4th your in the wrong sport. I think Burton and Busch got the raw deal yesterday. walleyeking#8
Now Now, No one is a loser. I've said this before, don't count out little E. I'd dare bet he will be there at the end. The season has only started guys there are a lot of races left and anyone of them can be up in the top 10 once the chase starts. Way to go Jr.
JohnMickish
Kyle Petty had a top 10 and he's only 4 points behind Jr. Does that mean he's out of the woods now and going to contend week in and week out too? Petty enterprises and DEI might not be in the same boat but I'd say their tied to the same dock.
Guest
mnfishingguy--they might be tied to the same dock, but i would bet that Jr.s boat will float further than Pettys, even if he is having a good year,or at least the best start for him in a while.Jr. will come around ye of little faith.I wouldnt go so far as to say that Jr. will be in the hunt every race, just saying he will get better, they have some issues and they will get worked out. JohnMickish
Hey, I'm just trying to stir the pot a bit. Not trying to hurt anyones feelings. The Petty's are using Evernham engines this year, maybe they are a under the table R&D team?
