How do you attach the licence to your permanent fishhouse?

This may sound like a dumb question, but I have a wooden house, plywood exterior, and to attach that flimsy electronic licence I've used small pices of lathes screwed into the house, overlapping the licence, then with one screw right in the center of the licence, but I hate screwing new holes in the house every year....

How do you attach your licence?

I think if you put it on a window it would be fine. It might blow off of wood. I would just stick it on a piece of plastic along with your other info needed and then screw it onto the side of your house. It will be fine then.

just stick it on, you can get all the duplicates you want for 2.50! wink.gif lol.

I use a piece of plastic as well, it adheres very well and have not had them come off, the glass of a window is ok, but if the window is not near the door, some of the C.O.s will not like it, they want it near the door as stated in the regs.

I put it on an aluminum/metal plate the size of the license

and just screw it onto my fish house. This also works nice if you want to remove it (after you've pulled your permanent off the ice) and put it on a portable. It slips right in the license pocket on my Otter or can be held on with a kotter pin if you don't have a pocket. Same principle as the plastic plate I'm sure. Never had a problem with it coming off.
