Beeber, I know you're right, I should get a sprayer, I even looked at some three point sprayers last spring, but I hate messing with the chemicals, no cab on the tractor, I don't want to poison myself.

Thanks for all the other advice. Starting to get psyched to plant. I was watching some deer last weekend browsing in the rape patch I planted. Not much left, but it was still drawing them in.

Last year I planted a 2 acre spot with red clover, then the Big rack buck mix from Albert Lea seed, then some of that Imperial clover. I'm curious to see which of the clovers the deer eat the best, the big $$$ Imperial or the red clover. I'm going to fertilize it and also put some 2' round fence rolls in the plot so I can see a spot not eaten vrs grazed by the deer. Should be fun.
