A lake

Recommended Posts

Pikemaster, I can only tell you this, yes. There is a boyscout or girlscout campground area that produces some walleyes, I'd suggest posting on the Metro area so you get some responses of people who have fished there I'm just passing on what I've heard.

Pikemaster,

I would consider Indy as a decent walleye lake. There are many good places to try so I won't go into detail other than saying I usually relate to shorelines. 12-14' during the summer months is a good bet. My weapon of choice is to slowly drag a jig/minnow combo at the said depths.

What I really like about Indy is the fact I can muskie fish during the day and walleye fish towards evening. When you put both in the boat in the same outing, that's a good day in my book!!

I primarily Muskie fish this lake with decent success. I have had very little luck personally with the Walleyes out here... but work the sandy point off of the northern side of the lake. There is a good large bass population in here as well!
