fishing float: Alma Wisc.

Wow, that's cool. I thought it was a float trip, like a canoe trip. Evidently not. Tell me...in Wisconsin? This thing is a gigantic floating fishing pier? On a river? Where is Alma? They have greyling and brown trout photos, which really confused me for a moment, until I read the fine print. Reminds me of the headboats/piers I used to fish from on the East Coast. Probably draws a colorful crowd. I assume it sits still someplace...you learn something new every day.

To get to this structure, you go to Wabasha, Mn and cross the bridge into Nelson, Wisconsin. Then you go right on Wisconsin Hiway 35 to Alma, about 9 miles. There are signs for direction in Alma, but so you know the dock for the ferry boat is to your right as you go thru town. Lots of nice fish come off this animal each year.
