big drift
We usually hunt fall canadas, with silos and shells and floaters. Do not have any snow goose decoys but really want to try it this spring. Can we use a side spread of canadians to one side and then snow rags to the other. planning on trying fergus falls area or fosston. No flights come through here. This is the most info i have heard or seen on spring seasons.thanksbig drift
Nova
This will be my first spring snow goose hunt. Going to our cabin in Fergus also. All I have is rags for snows, but lots of canadian shells. I am going to try buying cheap tube socks and put over the head of the canadian shells. I have heard that looks like blues. Eric Wettschreck
I'm far from a spring snow expert. Last spring we set up all of our honker decoys kind of on the edge of the rags we set up.I honestly don't know if setting up honkers helps or not, or if the bigger spread worked. We had em out and we shot snows.
MattKeller
BD. I'm telling you man, where you will be hunting (shoot me an email and I'll tell you where we found them last year) you can do some damage with 6 snow floaters. I would tell you I had some for sale, but I don't think that's legal on this site . You'll be hunting small flocks and those floaters with a small flock ecaller tape/cd works awesome.
