cartfan
It's time to respool and I saw the Berkley spooling station in a catalog. Does this thing actually work?
0 hoggs222
I have one. It works ok. Nothing special. The thing that I use all the time is the line stripper that comes with it. It will remove old line from a reel in a fraction of the time than unwinding it by hand.
0 Bassboy1645
Iv'e seen those things and used them myself before. I don't like em. Some models make line twist worse than it already is (if you use a spinning reel). I like the old fashioned way of spooling my reels.
0 FishinLogician
I have one and have liked it just fine. As said before it's nothing special but you do get that stripper. I'd rather use it than a loose spool on the ground. You can adjust the tension of the spool as well which is nice.
0 Ron Burgundy
Cabela's has a tool that you attach to your rod and go from there. Anybody ever use this. My wife gets tired of holding the line for me. You can buy the line stripper for $5 or so a Fleet Farm.
0 Diago
I have tried them all and was very disappointed. I found a neat line winder that works great! It is called "Twist -Free line winder" It attaches to your drill and will ablolutely not put any twist on your spinning reel line, plus it costs under $10. It is manufactured in Grand Rapids and sold at the local bait stores. Jim
