30 incher

How long does it typically take a walleye to reach 30 inches. I know it depends upon the type of lake and available forage but a generel idea would be great.

When I catch a 27 incher it usually takes about six months for it to grow to 30.

I believe if everything is just right a "northern" walleye could grow to 30 inches in about 18 to 20 years.

Walleyes down south in the big reservoirs, if everything is right, could get that big in half that time.
