I think what these guys are trying to say is what is the weight limit you are exceeding? Tires? Manufactures Suggested? DOT Legal axel weight? Vehicle towing weight? etc... Or is it the weight goal you set for your New Years resolution?

I think like Evenflow said we need a little more information about how you are rating your weight problem.

If you are over on your:

Tires - Get bigger ones

Springs - Get bigger ones

Axles - Get bigger ones

Vehicle rating - Get a bigger one (or maybe add on's could get you by)

Tounge weight - Bigger hitch or relocate benches ect. in house.

Get us some more info and we will be better able to help.

I spoke with the company that sold me the frame. He said the frame is rated for 6000lbs. The coupler says it's rated for 3500. My house weighs 3900. He said I should have no problems.

Good idea to replace the coupler. Better to have too much than too little. I've had a coupler fail due to wear. Completely my fault. I was in a hurry and it bit me in the .... well you get the picture. It was on a trailer much smaller than yours, but let me tell you.... It's an eye opener to say the least!!

When your dealer told you that you "should have no problems".... Why take the chance..
