Glass Jigs

I thought I saw someone post about glass jigs that hold a glow charge for 20 min or something like that.

Does anyone know?

Yes. I bought a couple of them in Baudette once at Log Cabin Bait. I thought they were kind of neat. They were clear, with a drop of glow paint in the center about the size of a pea or a little smaller. I used them a few times, but was not impressed. I went back to my forage minnow instead.

These are the glass jigs that people have been talking about.

I think I picked them up a couple years ago and didn't really notice a difference. I gave them a good shot on URL and my good old Phelps glow tube still produced more.

I can tell you that the paint on mine doesn't glow anymore.

The glass jigs glow very bright, but stop glowing pretty quick when in cold water. Not the best glow jigs in the world.

I said the very same thing not to long after they came out and everyone here thought I was crazy. They work great if they are nice and warm (like sitting inside the house in the tackle box) but in cold water they quit glowing very quickly.

ya there no good - i had a few and the all broke - not the glass but the glass and paint seperated so now all i have is a plain hook with some glow paint on the end. the smaller ones float with no bait on them.

I've used these on occasion with mixed results. At Lake of the Woods they never did a thing for me, but on URL last weekend they were the best thing in the box for those big slabs.
