I have one and it does a good job of keeping the minnows alive. Only problem is my pump does not work well and the price is a little steep. $30.00. More that I spend on minnows in two years. It was a gift so I'm not complaining.

I really like the bait net to retrieve the bait. Plus the lid seals down (like a cooler) so that you don't get minnow water all over everything during transport.

I've had the Min-o2-Life Bait Station (square double insulated bucket) for a couple years. I like mine, and have never hated it enough to get rid of it. I can keep bait alive in it for as long as necessary.

Good: insulates well; pump runs for long time on set of batteries, whole bucket net is nice, place to hang pump on side, good handle, air feed molded into side is nice touch, nice size and shape for storage and transport, doesn't tip over easy like regular buckets; does good job in summer, too, keeping bait cool.

Bad: doesn't always seal the best in real cold weather; then, if shaken up in same cold weather, lid freezes shut and have to pry open; pump hanging on side at risk of being demolished by other gear in transport; if you let the pump get too cold it may not start until it warms back up, I keep mine in an inside coat pocket for outdoor transport in very cold weather.

I've got one and I like the smaller size..also pump always freezes up in the cold..melted the side on it the other day oops..

iv'e got one and love it for it ability to keep minows alive. the areator clip broke off the second day. i cut a piece of plastic 2" larger than the bucket, remove the top cover and place plastic on then reinstall the cover. this seals the water in for transporting. plastic can be reused several times.
