gonzo79
Anyone have an opinion on which is a better model? What are the pro's and con's to the FL-18 and the LX-3? How do they match up? Thanks, gonzo

CNY Tim
Gonzo - It's a solid unit and has advanced features that the FL-18 does not have. Larger multiple zoom window, better target separation, crystal clear display that has high definition and a better softpack and charger than the competition. It hole hops without adjusting to stay in zoom. American engineering and built in the US and comes with a two year warranty and great customer service. I compared the FL-18 and the LX-3 two seasons ago and if you compared the FL-18 Pro Pack to the LX-3 Ice system you would have came to the same conclusion you get more bang for your buck with the LX-3. Not one NOT ONE of my friends or guides or rod builders ever returned the unit and said they wanted there FL-18 or 8 back. You will find the same thing as most. You won't be able to walk out on the ice without it. It's Zoomtastic!
