Cold weather finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been fishing in a few bays here in west central mn with close to 8 inches already, but the main part of the lake is still pushing it (2 inches), but this cold weather thats in the forcast is going to give me the itch to get my permanent out next weekend. It got down to 10 degrees last night and its only 17 out right now. I can here the ice crackin and makin. Now i just have to go out and find some walters to catch!!!

the ice is getting thicker this morning it didnt crack when i was walking across it. kind strange to walk across and see the bottom until it breaks off into deep water, can see the weeds and rocks in 8 or 10 ft of water

Same way down here in West Central WI. The wind was really blowing and it was cold. Good thing we got a few fish to make the time worth it

Currently (according to weatherunderground) it's -11 in Grand Rapids, windchill -32, and things are starting to look good...except the heating bills.
