walleye_jigger
I was at a local fish house manufacturer and noticed the kind of locks they put on there doors. I don't know what they are called, and figured somebody must know on here. They have a T handle and when turned two rods on the inside go into holes in the top and bottom of the door frame. They are similar to what some pickup toppers have on them. Are these good or bad in your opinion. I was trying to do some research on them but don't know what to call them. BradB
I think the best fish house door lock is no lock at all. Just take everything of value with you each time you leave. I would much prefer that someone entered my house, fished, and left than have someone break the door or window down to get in . If they want to get in, they are going to no matter what kind of lock you have. Just don't give them a reason.
efgh
I forgot to lock my fishouse on German lake one nite came back the next morning every house around mine was broke into, sometimes the best lock is no lock, but then again a friend of mine had his house broke into and the only thing they stole was his 500 dollar bolted down heater, they used his wrenches to unbolt his stove, lesson take your wrenches out too.
