Picture in In-Fisherman Mag

Since the ice has been bad here in the metro, I have been forced to read magazines. Just wondering if anyone has seen the picture of the perch laying belly down on the ice with its rolls hanging everywhere and the jigging spoon in its mouth? It is in the In-Fisherman Ice Guide 2005. That is a great picture! What a slob, really gets me ready to get out and try for some myself. I have been trying to find it for the background on the computer, would make a good one. Maybe I will scan it? Let me know what you think.

That IS an AWESOME picture huh?I looked at it the first time and had to do a couple doubletakes.It just didn't look right at first.Someday soon we will be chaseing those ourselves.

There are many Sumo Perch in the Dakotas right now. SE ND and NE SD has it's share of sumo perch waters both large and small.

Then there is Devils Lake and it's associated sloughs, more sumo water.

I love catching ><sUMo> perch, MMM-Boy...can't wait!

Speaking of pictures, there is also a picture in the latest Field and Stream mag. with a pic of Gull lake with 12,000 people on it for their fishing tourney. Pretty amazing.
