Dragonsm
A couple friends and myself were all interested in purchasing the rope lighting for our huts but wanted to see what it would be like in "dark" situations. All of the huts we saw with it were open to the lights above so we couldn't see how it works. I stepped into a portable at the show over by the Thorne Bros. display and it had the Red LED lighting in it. I zipped it up so it was dark on the inside. All 3 of us were very dissapointed with how little light it put off. Maybe it was just that our eyes didn't adjust to the light within 5 minutes or so, but it was enough to keep us from spending the 30 bucks for them!Just one guy's opinion though...LaterSteve
Jeremy airjer W
I checked them out at the ice show. I wasn't impressed at the brightness of the white LED's but it also wasn't pitch black in there either. The red LED's seemed a little dim also but I guess red is better to keep from spooking the fish. I think there about $16 Can you really go wrong for that kind of money (remeber the LED lights have a much lower draw on your battery so they will last alot longer than an incandescent bulb)
