bearberg
I have been told by our vet to use buffered aspirin if you choose to use it at all.
lawdog
Yes use low dose enteric coated (buffered) aspirin so it doesn't hurt their stomach.
loosegoose
Make sure it's children's strength buffered asprin. Base dosage by the weight of your dog.
Griff guy
We use up to 100mg buffered asprin per 10 lbs of body weight 2 times a day. It sure helps keep a dog up and eating on day 4&5 of a big hunting trip. You can buy 500mg tablets that are flavored for dogs. A little pricey but no hassel giving them.Griff guy
bigdog
I use the dog aspirin from Fosters and Smith. Buffered aspirin also works - don't use ibuprofen.
