Interchangeable slip-weight without a re-tie?

Yup - take a split-shot of any size (better with big Water Gremlin Bull Shot) and make it into a slip weight by opening it up, laying the shank of a bigger (3/0 or 4/0)aberdeen hook into it, and clamping it closed with a pair of pliers. Open it up, and now you can put it on above a swivel. Nedd more weight? use a bigger one. need less? use a smaller one. No re-tie required.

You can also use a plastic spinner clevis with the weights with the wire eye. They will change even faster!

Northlands Roach rig weights have soft metal eyes that are meant to be turned open for changing without re-tying also.
