SCCO9803
If I understand this correctly you didn't need to apply for a doe permit for zone 3B this year, just simply walk in and buy a license and you can take either sex during that season. While 3A (traditionally buck only) is still buck season with and alotment of applied doe tags?

Gus
SCCO, do you think you'll get in some hunting the day of your wedding??? Just kidding. Good luck the second weekend.
SCCO9803
No hunting on the weekend of my wedding. So we are going in the 3b season which is the following week. It actually works out better for us because we get two weekends to hunt instead of the usual one when we used to hunt 3a, plus it falls over Thanksgiving week. Therefore, I'll have 6 days of hunting without having to take one day off of work.
lcornice
You don't need to apply for 3B this year. You can take a deer of either-sex anywhere in the zone and either 1 (managed) or up to 4 (intensive) extra anterless deer, depending on the permit area.
