Fishinglund
I have been reading some of the other posts about Lac Suel, and I am wondering if anybody has any info on some relatively inexpensive resorts for a 3 or 4 day trip in early August. It doesn't have to be fancy, just a bed and shower, and hopefully close to good fishing. Thanks, Fishinglund
Fish Head
Try Lac Seul outposts. They have regular cabins and VIP cabins. I just got back and we had a regular cabin. A regular cabin almost a bunk house. running cold water in kitchen sink, no toilet, no shower. However even the regular cabins have stove, refrigerator, gas grill on the deck, and a fish fryer in front of each cabin.http://www.lacseuloutposts.com/LacSeulOutposts.html
can it be luck?
One of the cheapest American plan resorts I ever stayed at was Goosebay Camp in Ear Falls. Simple but it did the trick and served the purpose. A few years back we payed $350 for 7 days for 2 people. $25 a day is what that breaks down to. I'm not sure what the costs are now. The price was for a furnished cabin(small) and you supply your food, towels, and boat. Other cabins were larger and slightly more expensive. The way I figure it is...Hey, I'm there to fish, not sit around in a beautiful cabin. If I want beauty and luxury.....I'll stay at my own house.------------------http://groups.msn.com/canitbeluck[This message has been edited by can it be luck? AnglerJake
CIBL - Just saw an ad for Goose Bay in Midwest Outdoors - it is now 85.00 per person per day!
can it be luck?
If I'm correct, based on viewing past ads in "Midwest Outdoors", the price your quoting is for a furnished plan, to include minnows, boat, and other stuff most people don't need. The price I was talking about was for Cabin only. ------------------http://groups.msn.com/canitbeluck
