Captain B.R.K
I'm headed out of Hudson, Ontario the week of July 5-11th for a trip to Sen Bay on Lac Suel. Wondering about any reports, pointers, etc. from people that have been there recently or in the past.
Captain B.R.K
I think that is how you spell the name: Sen (say as zen, but with a S) bay.How about maps, can maps be purchased for this part of Lac Suel?
PRO-V
Captain, it's all good up there. Just keep moving locations and depth and you will find them. We usually use leeches or 1/3 of a crawler on a jig and do very well. Jigging vertically most of the time works the best and reduces snags. If the wind blows hard into a flat or small bay check it out. It can really get wild then. We never use live bait rigs as they are too easily swallowed and injure fish. Get your map at Ojibway Bait just south of Sioux Lookout. We got most of them in 28' last week. By the way, the fire damage is awsome. We were there when it burned last year.[This message has been edited by PRO-V (edited 06-23-2004).]

WB make the CUT
Capt.Just got back from Lac Suel, the water temps are only 55-56 on the surface, we found the fish a bit finikey for this lake, Sen bay has seven sunken islands that all can be good. Hope for more stable weather, and some heat!!!! Try crawlers on brass no5 colorado rigs Good Luck....Consider bringing minnows if it stays cold.
