How about a report for the jealous laker fanatics who can't be up for the opener. Lots of details on the the quest for ice fishings most gratifying pursuit would make me drool. Due to family obligations our group can't make it to Nestor Falls until Jan 17. I hope y'all leave a few fish in the lake for us!!!

Aw c'mon guys, someone up there must have internet access. Muskiebayresort are you there? I had to settle for 4 lousy catfish today . I can feel the pain of yet another fisherman coming down with a case of "laker elbow". I can only imagine the tales of 20 minute crappie limits. Please help!

mad mulcher, I just hope it snows up there, we will be out of andy lake resort on the 24th. I heard of good ice, and planning on some good laker action, but we need snow to get down to the remote lakes we fish. pray to the snow gods.

the morson area got 6 to 8 inches on friday. plenty for sleds. some trout were caught on opening day at whitefish. dont rember the amounts.we left saturday due to 22 below for a high forcast for sunday. brr!
