Pherris
I was wondering what the earliest a guy would plan a trip to Iowa for open water fishing? Any info appreciated. :-)
delmuts
if you are planning fishing the river; alot of it is open in the main channels ( they have been doing real well on walleye and sauger. the cedar is mostly open also. the ice on the lakes is starting to turn , but around here they are not open yet. you just have to keep checking and depending on the weather will determine when they open. usually by the end of march most are open.will try to keep you posted. del
