Oats/Molasses

Do any of you guys know the best (maybe cheapest) place to get oats in the St. Cloud area? Are all of the feed stores about the same, or do the prices differ a great deal? I don't mind driving the country roads, so I'd be willing to go to some of the smaller towns in the area. I thought some of you could share your favorite, or maybe there's a place that caters to hunters more than others.

Clear lake is the cheapest I found.

Grab some empty 5 gallon pails and a shovel and find your nearest grain elevator. Most rural small towns have them, at least in Southern MN. Stop in and ask at the office. They usually have so much spillage around that they don't mind if you scoop up some off the ground around the bins. The bears don't care if it's dirty or a little moldy. Just be sure to ask first! Free is better than cheap.

Try Heims Mill for molasses. They are located right where the Sauk River runs into the Mississippi. They should have oats too.

Heims Mill is very reasonable for both the oats and mollasses. Bring a 5 gal pail for the molasses and make sure you add sugar to it. It comes unsweetend.
