Dream Season

Has anyone seen the show Dream Season, it is on the Outdoorchannel. The hunters in this show are competing for a chance to have their own show, but they are taking the hunt to serious and it seems to me that they are out there only to kill a deer, it takes away from the hunting experience and is just another way that the anti's will find to complain about hunting

Tried to watch it last week and it was the dumbest thing I have ever seen.

I haven't seen the show, but a lot of hunting shows are kind of hokey, they're too dramatic. Personally I can't stand that when they shoot a deer, it runs off, & you knows it fell where they can see it, but they won't show it. The other thing that gets me is when they have to bring the camera shot in real close on the deer, so you don't see the other 20 deer standing in the field.

I guess I don't understand the being too serious about trying to kill a deer comment, isn't that the objective? Even though I often choose to pass on deer for whatever reason, every time I go out my goal is to kill a deer. (I know that I'm not going to do that every time, but it's kind of tough to be ready when the time comes if you don't plan for it.)

well serious wasnt the word i was looking for what i was trying to say is that they are just out there to kill the deer and not to enjoy the whole hunt.
