Bungee dock/mooring line

Does anyone use or have used these?   Are they worth it?  Trying to make the most of having the boat tied up at the cabin. 

 

Also - What do you suggest to keep it off/away from the aluminum dock besides bumpers.

boat lift...other than bumpers and good knots tied to keep secure, this has been the best option that i have seen.  Good Luck

That would be nice, but not an option.  I'll just buy the biggest bumpers I can.

They use all kinds of ideas down in the Coastal water like bows, cloths line anchor.  But by the time you buy all the stuff you need, your back to the cost of a cheap lift.  I use to moor my boat on a big lake at a resort as there was not enough lift space.  We used man hole covers buried in the sand, heavy chain, then heavy rope with a rubber shock snubber to soften the waves.  Then you either wade out or I used a rubber raft and clipped it to the rope when using the boat.  Good Luck!
