The Mino has become my favorite plastic and has been putting up huge numbers of fish for me.

Well Jeremy, Carp on not on my list of fish to catch this winter, but I am sure if you found a school of them you could get one to suck one up.

Great job and yes they are an awesome bait for sure! I am excited to try them on rainbow trout this weekend. Natureboy they are made by Maki Plastics and sold by Clam Outdoors.

Well the white with red flakes mino is still putting up fish for me. I tried other colors and they did not produce as well, but it might just be the lake or the day. I bought 2 more rods just for using the mino so that way I can rig up different colors and going to try one of the drop jig xl out. I am going to try a lighter jig to allow the gills to suck it in easier. I will be out quest for trophy gills with the mino as my number one bait this Saturday.

I found using a lighter jig helped land more gills. I believe it allowed them to suck it in easier. I used a 1/64 oz jig with Maki Mino in white and red flakes. I did miss some fish with smaller jig and wish they made it with a little bigger hook. I believe they were crappies that were missed more often than not.
