I'm very excited to try the new Drop Series of ice jigs. First on my list is the basic drop version. I foresee this little baby as being the go-to jig for most applications, especially when Black Hills perch move into deeper water and begin suspending. I'm also excited to try the Dingle drop, Maggot drop, Ant drop, and Epoxy drop in various colors. These will make there way into my tackle box very soon. Glad to see Clam getting into the tackle field with this great line-up.

Like just about everyone else, I too am anxious to get to try the new Clam line of Jig's Drop.jpg The Drop Jig is sure to be my new favorite wink

Maggot.jpg While the new Maggot Drop Jig will be great for live grubs or longer plastics.

these are the ones I plan to try this year. it is the first time I will have tried a tungsten jig. can't wait to see how much difference there will be over a lead jig.

As far as the new Clam jigs--the drop series are definitely NOT any type of new design. I've been using tungsten jigs with epoxy crystals for the last three year or so and the tungsten "drop" jig clam is marketing has been around for awhile now. The only "new" design jigs that they have that I might think of trying are the duckbill shaped ones and they psycho shad.

I think the bomb spoon is something I might buy but other than that, I will stick to my homemade jigs and my go to jigs I use now. Im not huge on the tungsten thing. I picked up almost 300 bucks worth two years ago and I hardly use em. not sure if I will pick up some of the clam ones or not.
