Dock Boy
hey guys maybe someone here can help me out with this. I tried to order an Ice Team sticker to put on my ice fishing sled. The cost on the sticker is $1.99 for members. The problem is the shipping is $13.00. Does anyone have access to one of the smaller stickers? I think they are 5x7 or something like that. Any help is appreciated!!

Dock Boy
I contacted clam last night via there email contact on the HSOforum. Here is the response I got. Good Morning, Thank you for contacting Clam. My name is Yolanda R. and I will be assisting you . I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. We have no way of changing or discounting shipping charges being that the shipping chargers Are not determined by Clam but buy the shipping company. If you have any further questions or concerns simply reply to this mail and I will gladly assist you. We appreciate your business and value you as a Clam Customer. I run a resort near International Falls. I just sent 3 life jackets from Border Boxes in I Falls to White Bear Lake for $15.00 including the cost of the box. Seems to me a 5x7 sticker would fit in an envelope with a couple of stamps. Seems like the carrier is taking advantage. I will have to look elsewhere for the sticker. Hawg
What's that tell you in case you need parts for one of their products. Very poor on Clam's part.
Rick G
What's that tell you in case you need parts for one of their products. Very poor on Clam's part. Clams service department is pretty good at what they do I would guess there is some sort of error somewhere, that seems pretty high to ship a sticker. Give Matt a chance, I bet he can solve this issue.

MNCPRGUY
When it comes to dealing with customer service centers, it can be frustrating no matter where you go. I have worked with Yolanda on numerous occasions and the first response I get is usually a standard company policy I'm sure. She is doing her job. Having said that, whenever the company response did not address my specific concern, the gang at Clam went out of their way to make it right. Be a good customer and you will get good customer service.

Matt Johnson
I might find my way up to Kab for a few fish this winter
Johnny_Magellan
Head's up on the shipping charge. Sounds like it's just a "default" setting that doesn't take into account the size of what's being shipped. In your case with the sticker, it didn't work as expected. But with most orders that can be much larger/bulkier such as shelter parts or accessories, it's not a bad shipping rate. Just an FYI...
